To support this consultation, QAA is holding webinars on:

About Quality Review Visit
Quality Review Visits are being introduced as part of the Higher Education Funding Council for England and Department for the Economy Northern Ireland revised operating model for quality assessment in England and Northern Ireland. They form part of the Gateway process, which tests a provider’s readiness to enter and remain in the higher education sector.

Quality Review Visits will apply to providers seeking to enter publicly funded higher education, recent entrants approaching the end of their developmental period of enhanced scrutiny, and providers scheduled for QAA review in 2016-17 that have not had two or more successful reviews under the previous quality assessment arrangements.

For more information about the consultation please visit

Many thanks
