This is just a reminder: * Friday 8th May 2020 (Early May bank holiday). The College will be closed for staff and students.

The bank holiday will serve as an opportunity to pay tribute to those who have served and continue to serve in the UK Armed Forces and their families.

At 11 am, a two-minute national silence will be held to remember the declaration of victory and the end of the Second World War in Europe.

There will be a special BBC programme to mark VE 75 (including  Sir Winston Churchill's victory speech) between 2:45 and 3:45 pm. The Queen will address the nation at 9 pm.
