The College is delighted to announce that Nelson College
London is one of
the first for-profit private colleges and one of the leading providers
of career-focused higher education in East London that has achieved
registration status from the Office for Students.
Announcing
this news, Nelson College Principal Professor Geoffrey Alderman
explained that this
registration “means that the College meets Office for
Students requirements for course quality, academic standards, student
support, student protection and more.”
As
an OfS-registered higher-education provider, Nelson College will be
able to charge fees up to
the highest level approved by the Department for Education – just over
£9,000 per annum. British and EU students will be entitled to borrow
these fees from the Student Loans Company. Much of this money will be
used to support the College’s Access & Participation
Plan, which the OfS has also approved and which is now publicly
available on the College website.
